Sealife Studio Privacy Policy & Other Stuff

Statement — Thomas Tietze, the Artisan Workshop and Sealife Studio are dedicated to the absolute privacy of our customers and all online users. I treat you the way I wish to be treated when doing business online. I do not disclose, sell, rent or lease any information to any third party without your express permission unless required to do so by law.

Server Logs — Like most web sites, Sealife Studio keeps server logs of accesses to my site. These logs are used only to determine what sections of my site are being accessed so that I can improve my site and online presence. They also let me know what designs people are most interested in. The server logs that I use do not contain any personally identifiable information such as your name or e-mail address.

Your Personal Information — I do not collect personal information on consumers without their express consent. In cases when such information is required, you are prompted to provide the minimum amount of information necessary. When you order from my site, all information is kept securely and used solely for the purpose of filling your order. I do not rent, lease or sell your information to any other business, individual or service.

Purchases— Currently I accept payment by Pay Pal as well as personal checks, cashier checks and money orders. When using the free services of Pay Pal, that businesses privacy policy applies to your transactions with them. I do not have access to your private bank account or credit card information through PayPal. A record of your transaction, method of payment, name and shipping address are maintained off-line for warranty purposes by Sealife Studio. This information is private and will only be shared when required by law or to investigate cases of fraud.

E-mail Lists — You may request further information or pictures of a particular item or choose to be placed on the Wish List to be notified when designs that interest you become available. You may also choose to receive my quarterly newsletter. Submitting your e-mail address is completely voluntary and is offered as a service to you. I will only contact you as you request. This information is never shared with any third party, unless required by law, and is only used by Thomas Tietze, the Artisan Workshop and Sealife Studio to answer your requests. If you ever want to stop receiving information from me, you may do so at any time by sending a blank e-mail with “remove” in the subject line.

You will receive an automated notice if you leave a comment on the blog portion of this website. This is automated, and I do not capture your information for any other purpose than to notify you of your comment, invite you back and for you to subscribe to follow-up comments left by yourself and others. These notifications are in the spirit of continuing conversation.

Shipping — In the course of shipping your order, I will have to share your name and shipping address with an intermediary such as Federal Express, UPS or the U. S. postal service. Each shipping service has their own privacy policy.
